La firma Homet Abogados 2

The firm began its journey in Barcelona in 2007, with a deep commitment to providing legal guidance and comprehensive support for international mobility projects. Our mission is to approach the global migration challenges of our clients holistically—promoting full legal integration and ensuring the success of their projects in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

In 2012, Homet Abogados transitioned from a law office specialized in national immigration in Spain to one capable of supporting migration processes at an international level. Today, we operate in over 15 countries across 5 continents.

Following years of collaboration with Arruti Consulting, we have solidified our partnerships to offer even more complete legal coverage of the migration process.

This enables us to act directly across northern Spain, with physical offices in the Basque Country and Asturias, and a strong commitment to supporting the region’s industrial ecosystem. We assist in mobility processes including business internationalization, employee relocation to foreign branches or manufacturing plants, and local workforce integration.

Pro Bono Work

Driven by our commitment to social justice, we actively participate in the promotion, protection, and defense of the fundamental rights and freedoms of migrants through social action, legal representation, and research.

Our firm has taken part in strategic litigation projects led by civil society—such as securing access to healthcare for vulnerable migrants, and protecting legal, safe, and effective migration routes. These efforts have led to favorable rulings by Spain’s National High Court and Supreme Court, opening the path to apply for international protection at Spanish consulates, in accordance with Article 38 of the Asylum and Subsidiary Protection Law.

SDG Commitment

Our firm is committed to conducting its work in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

We actively defend and promote Goal 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, which aims to foster peaceful and inclusive societies, ensure access to justice for all, and build effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels.

We believe that everyone should live free from fear and feel safe in their daily lives—regardless of ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation.

Our mission and pro bono work are aligned with this commitment, and we see gender equality and partnerships as cross-cutting goals in our contribution to SDG 16.
